If you have any questions about availability for private guiding, contact us directly! Offered courses block out our availability, but if no-one is signed up, or one of our other guides is free, we may be able to make a date work for you!

Scheduling Policies
Booking Timeline
We accept online booking for private guiding until 72 hours prior to our start time. for group events we generally accept booking until 18 hours prior to our course start time. If you wish to book within that time window, please contact us directly!
If any of the dates that are blocked off are the dates that work best for you, contact us to see if we have any other guides available! We may be able to move things around, or have a guide available for that day!
Cancellation policies
A non-refundable 25% secures your spot with Small Cliffs Guiding.
Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule!
If You Cancel…
If you provide us more than a week notice of cancellation, you are entitled to a 75% refund, or a 75% credit valid for one year.
If you provide us 4-7 days notice of cancellation, you are entitled to a 50% refund, or a 50% credit valid for one year.
If you provide us under 4 days of notice, this will result in no refund or credit.
We understand that stuff happens, so please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to work with you.
If We Cancel…
Small Cliffs Guiding reserves the right to cancel any trip for weather, safety, or health and wellness reasons. If Small Cliffs Guiding is the one to cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund, or a 100% credit for a future trip.
These policies are in place to protect us and our guides. Guides work other jobs, and accepting guiding work takes them away from other potential work. Cancellation with little notice means that our guide may loose a day of work. These policies are in effect to protect our guides in this eventuality, and still provide pay where applicable for lost work.
Gratuity
If you had an amazing time with Small Cliffs Guiding and were satisfied with the experience, please consider tipping your guide. This means a lot for our guides, and goes a long way.
Please consider setting aside an additional 15%-25% of the cost of the trip as tips for your guide.
